HumTech is happy to provide custom web design, development, and support services to UCLA Humanities faculty. Our team of designers, programmers, and network engineers will work closely with you to ensure that you receive the tool you need, when you need it. We offer the following services:

Requirements Gathering

Before we design or build a website, configure a server, or commit to support to a website, we work with you on a requirements-gathering process, so that we understand how you want your site or app to look and behave. Via this process, we’re able to produce a time and cost estimate for our design and development services (see below). There is no cost for this service, other than your time to meet with us, answer our questions, and give us feedback on wireframes and sample applications.

Web Design

Our team will create a custom design for your project, based on your requirements. At the end of this process, we provide you with image mockups of that design for you to evaluate. (Our estimate assumes one initial design and up to two revisions.) We charge by the hour for this service.

Server Configuration

Our team will configure a custom server or other digital asset for you, using existing digital tools, based on your requirements. We will provide you with the configured resource and all of the necessary credentials that you need to access it, as well as support for the first year. We charge by the hour for this service.

Web Development

Our team will build a custom website or web application for you, based on your requirements. We will provide you with the completed application, technical and user documentation, and all of the necessary credentials that you need to maintain the application on your own, as well as support for the first year. We charge by the hour for this service.

Web Support and Maintenance

For custom websites and web applications, we can provide limited troubleshooting and maintenance support. We can only provide this support to sites and apps for which we’ve completed our requirements gathering process (see above). We charge by the hour for this service.
