Take a New Look at Teaching and Research with Artstor and Shared Shelf
Los Angeles, CA 90095 United States + Google Map
Artstor and Shared Shelf are now a complete solution for managing image collections for teaching and/or research. Newly licensed by the UCLA Library to allow for increased image storage, Shared Shelf lets UCLA faculty create online collections of their own image sets, annotate them with rich metadata, and share them with fellow scholars. Researchers can keep those collections private, or publish them to Artstor to share with the campus, the university system, or the world at large. Instructors, meanwhile, can use Artstor’s time-saving teaching tools (such as downloading groups of images directly into Powerpoint presentations or creating online study collections) with their own images, either alone, or in combination with the over two million images already in Artstor. Best of all, they’re both easy to understand and use. So join Prof. Steven Nelson(Art History), Janine Henri (Arts Library), and John Lynch (Center for Digital Humanities) to learn more about how Artstor and Shared Shelf can save you time this year!
