Finding your way through the UCLA Henry J. Bruman Map Collection (sixty minutes)
Wednesday, February 1, 2–3 p.m. in Young Research Library, East Electronic Classroom
Need a map for your paper or project? Learn search strategies, tips, and tricks for locating print and digital maps: Sanborn maps of neighborhoods, single sheet in topographical series, aerial photos, Los Angeles zoning maps, and more. This workshop will focus on cartographic and spatial resources available at the Library, as well as federal and state agencies. Taught by Maria A. Jankowska, Social Science Librarian and Louise Ratliff, Map Catalog Librarian.
