More info: http://www.library.ucla.edu/events/gis-day The UCLA Library is joining the nationwide celebration of GIS Day 2014, an international grassroots effort designed to showcase real-world applications of geographical information systems (GIS) used in different disciplines and application domains. This year’s theme is “Grow and Nurture Your GIS Community.” We will showcase UCLA projects using GIS in different topical areas and disciplines in the Research Commons on the first floor of the Charles E. Young Research Library. If you have a GIS-based project that you would like to present, please contact Maria Jankowska by 5 p.m. on Monday, November 10.
