The goal of the Inca Mapping Project is to create a map that utilizes a topographic (3D/Google Earth) base map with polygonal features that designate the known spatial limits of Inca archaeological sites. These sites may be imperial Inca or inhabited by communities subjugated by the Inca imperial rule. A map that collates Inca archaeological sites has never been created, so this resource aims to create one that spatially represents available research (archaeological, historical, or otherwise) that exists on the Inca
