How do I access UCLA Library’s online subscription resources (databases, electronic journals, or e-books) from off-campus ?
You have two options:
First option is to setup and connect to UCLA VPN. Second option is to setup the Proxy Server:

After you have setup your Proxy server, you can then go to the UCLA Library page and access the resources you are looking for. You will be prompted to enter your BOL username and password.
Second Option is connecting to UCLA VPN first before accessing the UCLA Library database.
There are many ways you can connect to UCLA VPN. We recommend using the Cisco client for ease of setup:
