Learning Spaces

Rolfe Hall, UCLA

Humanities Technology hosts a variety of flexible specialized spaces for teaching and learning in our Learning Commons, as well as in our Learning Lab @ Rolfe. All of our spaces are managed by a team of staff and students that provide on-demand tech support.

Learning Commons @ HumTech

Located in the Luskin Public Affairs building, The Learning Commons at HumTech is a dedicated instructional zone that centers around our Teaching Resource Center (1020 Public Affairs),

The Learning Commons consist of three small to medium classrooms that are all equipped with equipment needed for remote instruction, including the 12 person Experimental Learning Facility (the ELF); the 14 person Online Resource Classroom (the ORC); and the 18 person Education ‘N Teaching Space (the ENT).

In addition to these well-appointed classrooms, the Learning Commons also has a dedicated VR space (EliXR), a Podcasting cart (PIPPIN), and a small recording studio (Studio H) that can be reserved by students, staff, and faculty for educational projects.

Learn more about the technical support provided in each space and how to reserve them for classes, tests, and workshops by viewing their individual pages.

Learning Lab @ Rolfe
