Muhammad Rehan

Muhammad Rehan is a fourth-year PhD student in the Program in Indo-European Studies at UCLA. His research focuses on the development and application of spatiotemporal and spatiophylogenetic methods for studying language change, with particular interests in historical phonology, linguistic typology, and language contact. He is also interested in applying machine learning and other computational methods to problems in historical and comparative linguistics, especially those involving the evolution, transmission, and geographic distribution of linguistic features.
