Terrah M. Jones is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology at UCLA. Her dissertation examines the identification of mordant binders in archaeological textiles and the methodology associated with their study. She has collaborated with a variety of archaeological projects within Peru and Ethiopia and has presented research obtained from these experiences at the Society for American Archaeologists meetings (2013-2017).
Terrah earned her bachelor’s degrees in anthropology and chemistry at Ripon College and her master’s degree in archaeology at UCLA. She enjoys teaching about archaeological method and theory and using experimental archaeology and ethnographic records to research archaeological weaving techniques.
