Jonathan CalzadaResearch & Instructional Technology Consultant
Jonathan Calzada is a doctoral student at the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies at UCLA. His research investigates how Non-Fungible Tokens as information transmit, translate, and create social realities of exchange. Jonathan holds a Masters of Library and Information Science (MLIS) and a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in Digital Humanities from UCLA. Outside of academia, he has worked in the Silicon Valley technology industry as a User Experience Designer and Researcher. Both his academic and professional careers have explored several aspects of technology production, especially its encoded biases and racisms.
