Miriam Posner: Making Sense of the Digital Humanities for Historians of Medicine & Science

A lot of people seem to talk about “digital humanities,” but what is it, exactly? What are some digital tools and techniques that might be useful to a historian of medicine or science? What are people doing now in the field? In this informal talk, I’ll cover the basics, give a survey of existing projects in DH/history of medicine and science, talk about some of my own research, and suggest some directions I think are promising.
